Back again with my favourite Christmas tree farm in Hockley Valley - Cricket Creek Farm. Its always an exciting day when you get to capture your best friends love, Rohit and Chelsea wanted to do a couples photoshoot to celebrate their 1 year anniversary! This Christmas themed shoot couldn't have been better timed, with the first snowfall of the season taking place the day before the shoot, covering the fields in a blanket of fluffy snow.
For this session Rohit and Chelsea wanted to incorporate B&W film throughout their shoot and I am so glad we did! The black and white film added such a contrast to the environment that is so beautifully displayed on the Illford Delta 400 film. Film is something I encourage all couples to add within their photoshoots as I truly believe it showcases such raw, true and authentic emotion. Film is real, blurry, filled with light leaks and imperfect shots, something forgotten within our digital age of photography. In film there is no changing or taking a bunch of shots until it's perfect, film just is and that is why I truly love adding it within my work.
Playful, intimate and cozy are easily 3 words used to describe this couples session, from playing among the trees to cuddling up close to the fire to making out in the tiny cabin, Rohit and Chelseas love was nothing but easy to capture!
